Founded in Waukesha, Wisconsin in 1946, Waukesha Bearings opened its Antigo manufacturing facility in May 1972, with a workers of 3 full-time workers. In 2019, the plant expanded to one hundred,000 sq ft of manufacturing space and now employs a hundred and twenty people. The manufacturing house was added to accommodate production for marine bearing methods and different new projects awarded to the company.
“We are proud of our success and development to turn into a supplier of precision bearings to some of the largest multi-national companies from our small-town, Northern Wisconsin location,” said Mark Greenlund, plant supervisor.
