Atlas Copco to accumulate Lewa and Geveke

Atlas Copco has agreed to buy Lewa GmbH and Geveke BV and their subsidiaries from Japan’s Nikkiso Co Ltd in a €670 million deal.
Founded in 1952, Germany’s Lewa manufactures diaphragm metering pumps, course of pumps and full metering methods. The firm employs around 1200 people and had 2021 revenues of €233 million.
“Lewa has a long custom of supporting clients and developing main industrial move expertise for efficient, precise and safe dealing with of fluids,” said Andrew Walker, president of Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area. “Through this acquisition we are constructing our presence and technology offering inside constructive displacement pumps.”
Geveke, which was founded in 1874, distributes compressors and engineers superior and complex process pump installations. เพรสเชอร์เกจnuovafima is headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, has 173 employees and had revenues of approximately €61 million in 2021.
“Geveke has sturdy engineering capability, providing full industrial pump solutions from idea to commissioning,” mentioned Atlas Copco’s Walker.
The acquisition is predicted to be accomplished through the second quarter 2022.
The main part of the acquired businesses could have its base within the Power and Flow division within Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area and a smaller part will join the Service division within Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique Business Area.
