The new Parque das Baleias (Whale Park) floating manufacturing, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel which is heading to Brazil might be equipped with Sulzer water injection pumps.

Due to be positioned 77 km offshore from Espirito Santo, Brazil, the Whale Park FPSO will function in 1,400 m deep waters, processing one hundred,000 barrels of oil and 5 million cubic metres of pure fuel per day. First oil on deck is targeted by 2024.
Sulzer has a long-standing relationship with the engineering procurement and building (EPC) firm involved within the venture.
