Waukesha Bearings celebrates plant’s fiftieth anniversary

Waukesha Bearings’ plant in Antigo, Wisconsin.
Founded in Waukesha, Wisconsin in 1946, Waukesha Bearings opened its Antigo manufacturing facility in May 1972, with a staff of three full-time staff. In 2019, the plant expanded to 100,000 sq ft of producing space and now employs 120 folks. The manufacturing space was added to accommodate production for marine bearing systems and other new tasks awarded to the company.
“We are pleased with our success and development to become a provider of precision bearings to a number of the largest multi-national corporations from our small-town, Northern Wisconsin location,” stated Mark Greenlund, plant manager.

The Antigo plant is the largest of 4 Waukesha Bearings manufacturing sites and is supported by engineers in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Waukesha Bearings also has manufacturing amenities within the UK, China and Mexico.
