PG Flow Solutions will provide eight giant seawater circulation pumps for each of the two wellboats. The Norwegian company will also supply varied engine room pumps which are required for the main engine and support engines, in addition to different general-purpose pumps as required for working the wellboats.
The two wellboats are Aas Mekaniske Verksted newbuilds 213 and 214.
PG Flow Solutions lately won contracts to provide pumps for newbuilds 208 – 212, that are all Sølvtrans wellboats.
“We are very pleased to be a half of this worth chain, which is now working like a finely tuned machine,” said Øyvind Berg, vice president of sales and marketing at PG Flow Solutions.
“The wellboats have been designed with fish welfare in thoughts. Our seawater circulation pumps have been developed with an equivalent philosophy. The merging of our applied sciences due to this fact makes sense operationally, financially and from an animal health perspective.”
