Atlas Copco has agreed to purchase Lewa GmbH and Geveke BV and their subsidiaries from Japan’s Nikkiso Co Ltd in a €670 million deal.
Founded in 1952, Germany’s Lewa manufactures diaphragm metering pumps, course of pumps and complete metering methods. The company employs round 1200 folks and had 2021 revenues of €233 million.
“Lewa has a long tradition of supporting prospects and creating leading industrial circulate expertise for efficient, precise and secure dealing with of fluids,” stated Andrew Walker, president of Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area. “Through this acquisition we are building our presence and know-how offering inside constructive displacement pumps.”
Geveke, which was founded in 1874, distributes compressors and engineers advanced and complicated process pump installations. The company is headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, has 173 staff and had revenues of roughly €61 million in 2021.
“Geveke has sturdy engineering capability, offering complete industrial pump options from concept to commissioning,” said Atlas Copco’s Walker.
